This is a wonderful hotel for a visit to Toledo. I really enjoyed my one night stay. Location is FANTASTIC… great walk from the train station (but uphill!) and a very short walk to the Cathedral and El Greco museum. The rooftop terrace has a STUNNING view. Staff was amazingly friendly (they called ahead to check in on my visit) and Super anccommod . The hotel was clean and well maintained especially for one with many years. The breakfast was a great deal- and good quality too! Really lovely dining room. The room itself was very clean. All the amenities you need. Bed was a bit harder for my liking but the pillows were great!!! (I checked the bed- it was clean and appeared new). Overall, I strongly recommend this hotel

We were inside the Toledo old town walls, with easy access on foot. Also we were able to park nearby at a reduced rate, thanks to the hotel.The room was very clean with a lovely rooftop view of the city. Rooftop restaurant/bar offered great views, probably even better in the summer ☀️. The hotel responded to all my questions pre- arrival and provided a selection of non-diary milk options for breakfast, which is important for me .

Hotel Carlos V is situated in an excellent location to visit all the sights in beautiful Toledo. The room was a good size with room for luggage. The beds were very comfortable with nice linens. The A/C was quiet and worked well. Wifi worked well in the room. Nice sized bathroom with a good shower. The breakfast was delicious with lots of choices ranging from typical Spanish breakfast items to eggs and bacon. Fresh fruits and cereals plentiful. Would highly recommend the rooftop restaurant. Great food and fabulous place to watch the sun set. The staff were professional and friendly.

The hotel is beautiful, the staff friendly, and the views amazing. Then, you get to the restaurant at the top, Azotea, and you will not want to leave. One of this years we will come back to Toledo, and stay at this hotel again.

The location is very good, after you get off at Zocodover Plaza, within 50 meters of walk, and the plaza is full of restaurants, bus stops to Toledo Train Station or to Toledo Bus Station, very convenient. The room is very clean and quiet. Staffs are very nice. Even my room was 1st floor just besides the elevator, I didn't hear noises from elevator doors opening. I would highly recommend Carlos V Hotel and will stay again if next time :) Btw, the breakfast is also very nice.

The Brazilian Receptionist was very friendly and Helped me with Many sites to visit I felt very welcomed as I live in Ireland for 20 years and Talking my own language I felt very special. The other receptionists were really friendly too. I could Leave my bag for few hours at after check out. The roof top Pub/Restaurant is incredible and I selected the place because of the view of the cathedral. I work in a cathedral myself and the view was a must to study the structures from outside. The restaurant on the top had many Reserved sits, perhaps it was only for food. You have some discount with a voucher they give you in the reception. I was getting a cheese plate so I managed to get a place for myself after ordering the food in the counter. The area is incredible. Close to the bus station. Restaurants and shops all around. Taxi Rank really close too. Breakfast was the best in the 2 weeks I was traveling in Spain. I was in Barcelona, Madrid, Bilbao, Santander, Suances, Picos da europa and I loved this place specifically. The Breakfast lady working on the 31/July/2024 was really friendly and welcomed all with lots of love! It was my favourite place for breakfast. I visited the tomb of the Principe negro (Black Prince) in Uk few days before and Seeing his swords all over the city of Toledo it was amazing. I did see some swords from Toledo in the shops around the Buckingham Palace too. I hope to come back with my husband next summer.

As a single female traveller, I felt very welcome in Carlos V hotel. The breakfast was fabulous, the room very clean and comfortable, and the sights were close enough to walk to and go home for a siesta in the hottest part of the day and then head back out again in the evening. The view from the rooftop was amazing and I would often pop up in the early morning and have it all to myself! The staff were very helpful with their advice on how to book train/bus tickets and what to see. I would stay here again, absolutely.

Great location a few steps from the Alcazar and just a few minutes' from everything else Toledo has to offer. The staff were lovely, the room was small but clean (no tea or coffee facilities) and the breakfast mainly continental style but plenty of choice

Location is great. Rooms are small but very nice and convenient. Staff is very courteous and the view from the windows (though very small) is amazing
